Resolution

When the allied powers won the First World War, the Armenian Genocide came to an abrupt end.  Armenians immediately started to migrate to other areas of the world to avoid other problems in Eastern Europe.  “The post-Ottoman Turkish government has never punished the perpetrators or acknowledged the genocidal intention of the Armenian massacres of 1915-1916” (Armenian). “Armenians were not given a protectorate nor even mentioned in the treaties that followed the war” (Armenian).  This genocide was the first of its kind in the 20th century, and was followed by Genocides of the Jews, Cambodians, Africans, Bosnians, and Albanians.
